The "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Training Project of Anhui Technical College of Industry and Economy was Successfully Held

       The Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association recently issued a notice, officialy launching the North African "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Training Program in 2024. This initiative aims to provide a broader range of learning opportunities for faculty and students from universities in North Africa, employees of Chinese enterprises, as well as North African youth who are fond of the Chinese language and culture, which serves as the primary cooperative region. The goal is to cultivate a cohort of internationally-minded talents proficient in Chinese language and possessing vocational technical skills.


On March 21, 2024, Anhui Technical College of Industry and Economy successfully held the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Training. This program, as a special feature of the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" training program in North Africa countries, attracted more than 170 college students, and provided students from many countries with a window to learn Chinese culture.

In her address, Chen Lu, Secretary-General of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, stated that the project was designed and planned to implement the important directive of the country regarding "providing education in 'Chinese+ Vocational Skills' to train 10,000 indigenous African composite talents". The Association attaches great importance to this initiative and is pleased to witness the smooth commencement of the training in collaboration with various partners. Chen Lu hopes that participating students will cherish the learning and training opportunities, and expects trainers to adequately prepare for courses to ensure the quality of teaching and training.

At the beginning of the training, a team od the teachers from Anhui Technical College of Industry and Economy presented an excellent Chinese cultural course for the students. Teacher Jie Lu gave an in-depth and easy-to-understand lecture on "Chinese Festivals and Martial Arts Culture", using vivid pictures and videos to allow students to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture. Teacher Zhou Zheng led the students on a "Journey through Chinese Cuisine Culture", exploring the stories behind various regional culinary cultures, igniting students' longing for Chinese culinary culture. Teacher Shanshan Han focused on the theme of "Chinese Culture and Tourism", showcasing China's rich tourism resources and profound cultural heritage, sparking strong interest among students in Chinese tourism culture.

The students expressed that this training has provided them with a more comprehensive and further understanding of Chinese culture. They have gained a clear awareness of the importance of "Chinese+ Vocational Skills" Training and sincerely look forward to more training opportunities like this in the future, to broaden their international perspectives and improve their multicultural literacy.


Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association will continue to promote the effective implementation of this program, aiming to cultivate high-quality, internationally-oriented composite talents and build a larger platform for international education cooperation between Chinese and foreign universities.
