SNAEIA conducted a symposium with Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange and Guiyang Vocational and Technical College

On May 31st, a delegation of five people, including Chen Xiaofei, Secretary-General of the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, Chen QiuYin, Project Assistant of the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, Yu Ting, the person in charge of the Guizhou International Chinese Teacher Certificate Examination Center, Wang Biyong, Dean of the Kungpeng Education Research Institute of Guizhou Province, and Chen Lu, Secretary-General of Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, were invited by Guiyang Vocational and Technical College to attend an international education exchange symposium.

The symposium was attended by Dai Qiong, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, and Weng Qing, a member of the Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department. Heads of various departments, including the Department of Finance, Economics and Trade, the Rail Transit Branch, the Information Science Department, the Biochemical Engineering Department, and relevant staff from the International Education College, participated in the meeting. The symposium was presided over by Wu Yan, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation at the college.

During the symposium, Chen Xiaofei, Secretary-General of the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, first introduced the organization structure of the association and the ongoing international education exchange projects. Chen Xiaofei expressed the expectation for Guiyang Vocational and Technical College to increase efforts in international exchange and cooperation, expand international exchange platforms, and enhance education at various levels, disciplines, and fields. The goal is to continuously improve the level of internationalized education. The Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange will continue to provide a platform for international exchange and cooperation for Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, offering services to better promote the school's international and diverse development.

Dai Qiong, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, welcomed the guests on behalf of the college. She expressed gratitude to the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange for its care and guidance on the college's international education exchange work. Dai Qiong stated that Guiyang Vocational and Technical College consistently adheres to an open, inclusive, and shared educational philosophy. The college actively participates in the "China-ASEAN" Education Exchange Week, strives to build an open and shared cooperation platform, and actively introduces and implements international common professional standards and curriculum systems. Dai Qiong emphasized that in the future, the college will seize opportunities, intensify efforts in international exchange and cooperation, expand international platforms, enhance the space for international exchange and cooperation, continually improve the level and quality of internationalized education, and advance the construction of a high-level college.

Chen Lu, Secretary-General of SNAEIA, stated that with the development of economic globalization and the continuous enhancement of China's comprehensive national strength, internationalization of education has become an increasingly hot topic in education reform and development. National policies continue to call for "encouraging higher education institutions and vocational colleges to collaborate with enterprises to go abroad, encouraging social forces to participate in overseas education, and accelerating the construction of a Chinese characteristic vocational education system with international advanced levels." Therefore, the internationalization of Chinese vocational education has become an important part of supporting the implementation of "the Belt and Road" initiative. Under the guidance of the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, the association will actively assist in the implementation of international education in colleges, promoting further enhancement of the internationalized education level of the college.

After the meeting, the delegation visited Guiyang Vocational and Technical College's Rail Training Base, Equipment Manufacturing Training Base, and the Museum.

The symposium has established a platform for mutual exchange and common development between the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, and Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association. It has laid a solid foundation for the internationalized education development between the association and the college, injecting new vitality and momentum into the association's efforts to promote the internationalization of vocational education. In the future, under the guidance of the Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange, the association will engage in deep cooperation with various universities in Guizhou Province, jointly advancing the internationalization process in the field of education.
