The important speech by President Xi Jinping during the 15th BRICS Summit in August 2023 emphasized the implementation of the“China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Plan”, which proposed: “China will continue to cooperate with Africa in running Confucius Institutes. With joint Chinese language majors and providing scholarships, China will train 1,000 local African Chinese language teachers annually. Furthermore, China will train 10,000 local compound talents through "Chinese + Vocational Skills”education.

Training Targets

The program is open to students, teachers, teaching management personnel, employees of Chinese-funded enterprises, and Chinese language learners who are interested in the Chinese language and culture in African countries.

Training Format

1. Online Training: SNAEIA will provide online teaching platforms for training through live streaming and video conferencing.

2. Offline Training: In line with the requirements and specific circumstances of North African countries, 2 to 4 distinguished educators will be sent to the region to carry out short-term training programs.
